CANACONA
A 71-year-old British national found dead in the room of a resort in Patnem-Canacona early Wednesday morning. According to Canacona police, Nigel John Denton was staying with his partner at a resort in Patnem“Canacona since December 3 and was unresponsive at about 7.30 am while asleep in his room. He was shifted to a CHC Canacona in a 108 ambulance, where he was declared dead on arrival. The Medical Officer of CHC accordingly informed police about the death of the British national and police conducted a panchanama. Police were informed the deceased had been taking medication for diabetes and blood pressure. Police sent the body for further medico-legal formalities to the South Goa District Hospital at Margao. Canacona police registered a case under Section 194 of BNSS 2023 and further enquiry is being conducted by Canacona PSI Ajit Velip.
