OLD GOA
The Chimbel Primary Health Centre (PHC) crossed the 25,000-mark of administering vaccinations on Friday.
Speaking to The Goan, Medical Officer Dr Jude D’Souza informed that as of Friday, the total number of the first dose of vaccinations administered by Chimbel PHC was 25,022, with 2,637 administered two doses.
“It is a combined effort of the Chimbel PHC team which has helped us achieve the same. However, there’s still a long way to go till the entire population under Chimbel PHC is administered the first dose,” Dr D’Souza added.
Apart from Chimbel, the PHC also caters to villages like Taleigao, Merces, Santa Cruz and Curca-Bambolim.
