The Chimbel panchayat will conduct a camp on October 22 to help villagers avail benefits of insurance schemes with the help of Bank of India.The camp will be held in the panchayat office from 10.30 am to 12 noon. The insurance schemes which will be available include the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana which offers an insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh at Rs 330 per annum and is eligible for persons of 18 to 50 years.
Also, the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana will be offered with insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh at Rs 12 per annum for those between 18 to 70 years as also the Atal Pension Yojana for those between 18 to 40 years.Panchayat authorities have requested those wishing to avail of the insurance schemes to visit the panchayat on the above mentioned date and time with copies of passbook and Aadhar card.
