PANAJI: Dr RG Wiseman Pinto, Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology at Goa Medical College, and former Dean of Goa University, has been invited as Chairman, Faculty, and Moderator for three scientific sessions at the 45th ECC (European Congress of Cytology) to be held in Leipzig, Germany, between 23-26 June 2024. Dr Pinto will chair, moderate, present, and speak in the Asia-Africa session, Indian session, and French session on the topics “Guided Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology” and “Infections, Diseases, and Soft Tissue Tumours”.
The theme of the conference is “Cytopathology”. The clinical interface and website is www.cytology2024.eu. Pathologists from all over the world will participate in this conference. Dr Pinto has also been appointed as the International Scientific Committee Member of the 45th ECC, which is organised by the EFCS (European Federation of Cytology Societies).
