PORVORIM: The Pilerne Thursday Heritage Market (PTHM) will organise the Polka Thursday organised by the Parish Pouth of Pilerne on January 11. People are encouraged to wear polka dotted outfits, attire and accessories to complete the polka ensemble and there will be a ‘Best Dressed in Polka’ winner at the event.
There will be a fun reel making competition for the youth and foot tapping music by Dominic Soares and team called ‘Derefent Band’. The PTHM will also feature a Cake Decor competition for 18 years and above, in which participants will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity in decorating a pre-baked cake.
