BICHOLIM
A Flying Squad raided a stone quarry at Latambarcem-Bicholim and seized equipment from the site.
The Flying Squad led by Bicholim Mamlatdar Rajaram Parab and comprising Nitin Atoskar, (Asst Geologist Dept of Mines), Fatgo Palkar, Rajendra Naik (Talathi) and a Bicholim police team conducted a surprise raid at the stone quarry and seized a power tiller fitted with a cutter, a horizontal laterite stone cutter and a generator used for illegal extraction of laterite stones.
The seized machinery was handed over to the Bicholim Police for further investigation.
