PANAJICinephile Film Club will screen the yet-to-be-released documentary, The Beatles and India, directed by Ajoy Bose, who will be present for the screening. He will introduce the film and the screening will be followed by a Q&A. Sachin Chatte will host the special screening on July 7 at 6.30 pm at the Cinephile Film Club, Maquinez Palace, Old GMC Complex, Panjim. One of the greatest bands and cultural phenomena of all time, the Beatles visited India in 1968 and that landmark event is still spoken about. Director Ajoy Bose published a book, Across the Universe: The Beatles in India in 2018 and this documentary is a visual extension of that endeavour.
