Lions Club of Calangute and Leo Club of Calangute distributed scholarships of Rs 3000 to 10 students each of 5 schools in Calangute ie St Joseph's High School, St Dominic Savio People High School, Don Bosco High School, Little Flower of Jesus High School and Vidhyaniketan High School. The scholarships were sponsored by Rtn Angad Singh, Director of Estrela Do Maar Beach Resort. The Club also handed over dry groceries to St Joseph Boys Home Calangute. Present on the occasion were Rtn Angad Singh, PDG MJF Lion Nitin Maganlal, PDG MJF Lion Vassudev Valawalkar, Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Illyas Rajabali, Lions President Lion Murtaza Mathernwala and others.
