Wild Orchid has announced Asian Fashion Awards to honour the fashion fraternity. Asia fashion awards, initiated by founder and CEO of IFW GOA William Xavier and promoted by Janna Bhandari, will be held at Cidade de Goa on November 28 at 6.30 pm. The awards are a fundraiser for the IFW Fashion Funds charities, and they focus on celebrating excellence in the fashion industry and supporting the future pipeline of creative talent.
After the online application and entry submission followed by eligibility check by evaluators and advisory team, the names of the participants were shortlisted for jury meets. There would be a face to face meeting with a jury panel for the winner selection.
The award categories are apparel designer, accessories designer, fashion brand/garment house, fashion school/institute, model (male/female/Mrs), show director, choreographer, hair and make-up, fashion photographers, fashion bloggers/columnists, fashion magazine (print/online), life-time achievements and fashion icon (male/female).
