44 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours

The Directorate of Health Services on Tuesday recorded 44 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

The sample testing size rose to 2,886 samples and the daily positivity rate stood at 1.5 per cent.

The active case count has now touched 390 with 36 recoveries being recorded in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 3,805 more persons have been vaccinated by the Health Department since Monday raising the number of partially vaccinated persons to 2.01 lakh and fully vaccinated persons to 10.71 lakh.
