Bal Kirtankar (child kirtan artist) Sarvesh Shivanand Salgaonkar recently presented his art of singing devotional songs at Chikangal Shiroda’s Shantaprasad Adwaitanand auditorium in a Gomantak Sant Mandal’s Kirtan Vidyalaya programme. This nine-year-old child artist is a student of class IV at St Anthony Primary School at Corlim-Mapusa and trained under the guidance of renowned Goan Kirtankar Suhasbua Vaze. Sarvesh was accompanied by Principal Suhasbua Vaze, Rudraksh Vaze, Damodar Kamat and Datta Mauzekar. Appreciating little Sarvesh’s talent, Deepa Jayant Miringkar and Dr Shirish Borkar offered a special prize to this budding artist.
