Bartending Academy launched in Margao

MARGAO: The Guardian Angel Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (GAIHMCT) officially launched the ‘Bartending Academy Goa’ on Saturday evening at a newly established facility in Margao.

Rev. Fr. Joaquim Rebello, Provincial Superior of the Goa Province, Society of Pilar, inaugurated the training centre at a well-attended ceremony. Industry leaders from Goa’s hospitality, tourism, and nightlife sectors were present for the launch, which highlighted the growing need for skilled bartenders in India and abroad.

The Academy aims to equip students with job-ready skills through short-term, specialised courses in mixology, flair bartending, beverage knowledge, bar operations, and customer service, all aligned with international hospitality standards.

“With Bartending Academy Goa, we are expanding our vision to match industry demand while empowering youth with specialised, job-ready skills,” said Raynold, Principal of Guardian Angel IHMCT.
