The Labour department in Goa has organised an employment and career guidance mela under 'Self-employed Youth' on October 27 and those who are above 18 can participate in the same. The mela will be held at Dnyan Prasarak Mandal College Assagao from 9 am to 5 pm. On October 30, a similar mela will be held at G V M High School Higher Secondary School at Farmagudi, Ponda. This is an opportunity for the unemployed youth who wish to do a career in business and entrepreneurship. The government of Goa has appealed to the youth to participate in the mela and avail the opportunity. The career guidance sessions will have IT, Hotel Management, Retails and Service Industry. People in these industries will guide the youth.
