Chicalim Deputy Sarpanch donates Rs 1,11,111 to Ram Mandir fund

Barely days after Panchayats Minister Mauvin Godinho donated Rs 2 lakh for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya under the "Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan”, Chicalim Panchayat Deputy Sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav donated Rs 1,11,111 to the cause on Monday morning.

The cheque was donated to the VHP Mutt Mandir Mormugao Taluka President Shyamsundar Nayak in the presence of former minister Rajendra Arlekar, Dabolim BJP Mandal President Sandeep Sood and others.

Speaking to reporters, Yadav said he was happy and blessed to be a part of the fundraising drive launched to collect donations for the Ram temple construction in Ayodhya.
