Officials of four different departments participated in an awareness camp at Chimbel on Saturday and made people aware of various government schemes with their respective departments.
Representing the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Dr Yogesh Naik explained the various schemes available like dairy farming, poultry, piggery, goatery.
Vanita Naik of EDC explained about the Chief Minister’s Rojgar Yojana while Anant Murgaonkar threw light on the various schemes available under the Tribal Welfare Department for the benefit of the ST population.
Finally, Philomena D’Souza highlighted the schemes available under the Directorate of Women and Child Development.
Swayampurna Mitra and Deputy Collector Gurudas Dessai and others were present for the programme.
