The Enforcement Squads of South Goa District is enforcing the effective implementation of the illicit drug/Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003 in South Goa District for entire South Goa Talukas.
The Enforcement Squads will take action on illicit tobacco products which are in circulation without paying taxes including other sections under COTPA Act, 2003.
