Margao Fire brigade rushed to Fatorda in the wee hours of Saturday after a residential flat caught fire.
Fire Officer Gill D’Sa informed that the fire brigade received a call informing that an apartment in a building located near Sincro hotel is engulfed by fire.
He said household goods, including an inverter, air conditioner, showcase, recliner chair, doors, electric wiring, beds, besides window glasses were gutted in the fire.
The loss caused by the fire is being ascertained.
