A security guard was arrested on charges of stealing copper wires from the same factory which he was guarding at the Verna industrial estate. The company CEO Sanjay Ahire had lodged a complaint that a person had stolen copper moulded tubes worth Rs 25,000 on Monday.
During investigations, police arrested Ajay Kumar Nanda (36), a native of Orissa but residing at Verna, who had been working as a security guard for the last 45 days. Verna police recovered all the stolen property from the accused and further investigation is in progress.
