A lecture on 'Institutions Matter: Lessons from Rural India' by Dr Amar Patnaik, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) is scheduled in the ICG Lectures series, at the International Centre Goa on January 15 at 5-6 pm. For safety reasons, the programme will be held outdoors with a limited number of attendees and all standard protocols will be followed. OLD GOAThe Pilar Monastery Church will reopen on January 14, in accordance with the SOP/Guidelines for health and safety protocols for reopening of Churches as issued by the Goa government and the Goa Archdiocesan authorities.The Church had been closed to the public since March 22, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
