The Lions Club of Canacona unanimously elected Lion Patricia Mendonca e Torres as the president for 2021-22 year. She steals the credit to be the first lady president in the 40 year’s existence of the Lions Club of Canacona. Along with her others elected are Lion Shainaz Khan, secretary 2021-22, Lion Motesino Fernandes as the treasurer 2021-22, Lion Yogita Vernekar, First VP, Lion Shilpa Nayak as the Second VP, other board of directors and the Global Action Team. Lion Patricia Torres has served the Lions Club of Canacona for the last two years and has been active in various programs and service events of the Club. A JCI member, she has won the outstanding president in the year 2018 and has an action plan for her new term as the president with various service projects.
