Loutulim’s Xiyan Mavis Pereira Almeida has secured first place in the 12–15 years category at Vem Cantar 2026, continuing her strong run at the Portuguese Song Contest. Xiyan had previously won first place in the 8–11 years category at the previous edition of Vem Cantar. A student of Manovikas English Medium School, Xiyan pursues singing alongside several other interests, including swimming, playing the keyboard and crocheting. Her musical journey also carries a personal connection to her Avô, whom she considers a constant source of inspiration. Beyond music, Xiyan has set her sights on a career in medicine. She hopes to pursue a PhD in Paediatric Cardiology in the future.
