VASCO: Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) along with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is conducting a three-day workshop on Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) disasters from April 11 to April 13.
MPA Chairman Dr N Vinodkumar after inaugurating the workshop informed reporters that 40 participants from all stakeholders are attending the workshop.
“An expert panel in CBRN will train participants and the purpose of such training is to ensure that first responders have a common knowledge base and a minimum level of preparedness when responding to CBRN incidents,” said Dr Vinodkumar.
