Special children ready with special Diyas — The different types of Diyas readied by special children, awaiting orders for Sale at the Special Children School at Mokhard (Bhatpal), Canacona.

Students of Lokvishwas Pratishthan's Special School at Mokhard-Canacona are set for the Diwali Sale, having prepared special Diyas traditionally used for the Diwali.

Social activist and environmentalist Shirish Pai has appealed to people to place their orders, priced at Rs 60 for four Diyas, adding that their contribution in purchasing the Diyas prepared by special children would help the Lokvishwas Prathisthan's School for Special Children. The school is utilising the skills of special children in preparation of various artefacts in a bid to raise funds for the school.

BITS Pilani Goa team wins ‘Armageddon’ competition

PANAJI BITS Pilani Goa students won IIM Ahmedabad's Annual Flagship Case Study Competition, 'Armageddon' held recently. The competition had over 1,550 participating teams, with a prize pool of Rs80,000.
