Fire brigade rushed to Borda area on Thursday after a tree came crashing down on a Maruti car. Fire personnel removed the debris from the vehicle and the road. Fire personnel said the incident cause damage to the vehicle and also blocked the internal road.

Jharkhand man dies of injuries in Agonda mishap

CANACONAA 25-year-old man from Jharkhand, but residing at Agonda, died of injures from a self-accident at Agonda on Thursday. According to Canacona police, Sandip Roy was riding a two-wheeler when he sustained grievous injuries in a self-accident at Agonda on May 9. He was admitted in the GMC hospital at Bambolim for medical treatment, but succumbed in injuries on Thursday. Following an autopsy, police handed over the body to the family for final rites. Canacona…
