PANAJIICT cell and Study Circle of Vidya Prabodhini College, Porvorim organised a talk on cyber security in collaboration with the Cyber Security Cell Ribandar. Police Inspector Devendra Pingle enlightened the students on various areas of cyber threats and how they can be tackled. Devendra, in his speech, mentioned how various apps and devices we use keep track of our basic information which can be used against us in cyber attacks. Students were shown how to register a complaint on cyber crimes websites. The talk was attended by 250 students from Bcom as well as the BABED section. Asst Prof Kedarnath Tadkod compered the function and introduced the chief guest, Asst Prof Saish S Nayak Dalal delivered the vote of thanks.
