As many as 131 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Goa on Saturday-Sunday even as two more fell victim to the dreaded virus. The DHS said in its bulletin that 4,197 samples were tested and Goa’s positivity rate has dipped to 3.12 per cent. The death toll now stands at 3097.
Saplings planted at Chandor
PANAJI Tree saplings were planted at the Chandor Traffic Island jointly by Seamens Association and Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott yesterday. The theme was "Oxygen is not a fear, when trees are near" and "Grow plants and save Earth". The theme posters were prepared by Frewin D'souza, student of St Joseph Educational Institute, Chandor.
