Vasco Fire Services on Monday rescued two workers who fell and got trapped in a sewage chamber at Sada-Vasco.Both persons have been rescued and shifted to the Chicalim Cottage hospital for further medical treatment.
"The incident happened on Monday afternoon and we got a call at around 3.45 pm that two persons had fallen in a PWD sewage chamber and got trapped in the chamber at Sada,” said a source in the Vasco Fire Station.
“The two persons were working on a sewage line when they may have accidentally fallen in the chamber. We managed to save both lives and they were shifted to Chicalim Cottage hospital for further medical attention," said the source.
