3 injured in knife scuffle at Parra

Three persons were injured in a knife attack at Britto waddo in Parra on Monday evening.According to police, a dispute broke out between Sadam Mulla (Arpora), Ravi Goyal (Parra) and Deepak Sarkar (Parra) over their friendship with a young woman. The dispute took a violent turn when they were involved in a knife attack and were injured in the incident. All three are undergoing treatment in hospital. Deepak Sarkar filed a police complaint against Sadam Mulla and Ravi Goyal, while Sadam Mulla filed a counter-complaint against Deepak Sarkar. Police are investigating the case.

MARGAO In an interesting development, two unknown persons entered the campus of the National Institute of Technology, Cuncolim and decamped from the boys hostel nine laptops, besides other items worth Rs 6.53 lakh. The incident occurred on January 12 at 11 am when the unknown accused persons effected entry into the NIT campus from the main gate with Swift Dzire vehicle.
