Goa recorded five more Covid deaths but the number of new infections and the positivity rate dropped significantly. The positivity rate reduced to 32.45 per cent (it was 40 per cent on Sunday). Health officials were, however, concerned with the number of deaths.

PANAJI Unseasonal rain disrupted normal life in several parts of Goa on Sunday. Areas of Mapusa, Porvorim, Panaji, Bicholim witnessed showers as a result of a trough forming over south Konkan region, according to IMD. It has also been forecasted that minimum temperatures may dip by 2-3 degrees from Monday.
