As assured during the kitchen garden workshop, organised in Association with United Club of Utorda recently, officials of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Agriculture department South Goa, Margao descended on Utorda village and inspected the crops, watermelons, onions, chillies, etc and conducted soil study in the fields of Savio Antao, Mira Juliao and Salvador Antao. Agriculture department was represented by Girish Kenkre (plant protection) and Anil Noronha (Horticultural). The UC Utorda and the farmers expressed their gratitude to the officials of the Agriculture department for trying to resolve their problems.
