Auditorium, new infra inaugurated — Harilal B Menon, vice-chancellor of Goa University at a V M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education ceremony in the presence of director Prof Irfan Mirza.

V M Salgaocar Institute ofInternational Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) has added a newauditorium hall and a kitchen to their existing infrastructure. Thenew facilities were inaugurated at the hands of Harilal B Menon,vice-chancellor of Goa University (GU) at a ceremony in the presenceof director Prof Irfan Mirza and others.

Speaking on the occasion GUvice-chancellor Harilal Menon stated that this new infrastructurewill play an integral part in the students' development.

Desh Apanayan distributes awards among schools

PANAJI Desh Apanayan Sahyog Foundationdistributed its first annual awards of 2021-22 to 10 schools, 20teachers and 3,200 students. The Foundation had conducted variousprojects in government schools and those who fared well in theseprojects were feted in the hands of Nagraj Honnekeri, director,SCERT. Vallabh Bhansali, chief advisor and founder of Desh ApanayanSahyog Foundation at Clube Gaspar de Dias at Miramar.
