The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs have allocated quota of onion to all ration card holders i.e. Priority Households (PHH), Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY), Above Poverty Line (APL) and Annapurna (ANP) for the phase-I of month of November, 2020 in view of sudden spike of the price of onion in the State, in addition to the regular quota of foodgrains under PDS.
For Priority Households I will be 1 kg onion per card for Rs. 34.50 per kg. Antyodaya Anna Yojana cardholder 1 kg onion per card for Rs. 34.50 per kg. Above Poverty Line cardholder 1 kg onion per card for Rs. 34.50 per kg and for Annapurna cardholder 1 kg onion per card for Rs. 34.50 per kg.
All the fair price shop owners are informed that the quota lifting of phase-I will start immediately. Ration card holders are requested to take their first lot of entitlement i.e. 1 kg/card @ Rs. 34.50/- per kg before November 15, 2020 from their respective fair price shops. The balance quantity will be supplied once it is received from NAFED, as informed by the Department of Information & Publicity.
