First Int’l Kaushal Mahotsav job fair on April 23

PANAJI: The International Kaushal Mahotsav Job Fair is being hosted by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) from April 23 and it will continue till June 28. The job fair is the first of its kind in the country and Goa has been chosen as one of the centres. The last date for the candidates to register their names is April 16. The job fair is open for fresh as well as experienced candidates.

The registration is free and is open for all.

The selection process would be transparent and reliable, and there are opportunities to serve in foreign countries. Interested candidates can log in to www.kaushalmahotsav.nsdcdigital.org for details and Registration. The Mahotsav will be held in different States phase wise.

Mime workshop held at Loyola High School

PANAJILoyola High School, Margao organised a six days workshop for its students on the theatrical technique ‘Mime’ from April 3-10. The workshop was conducted by Rajratna Kaushalyan, an alumnus of National School of Drama, Bangalore. Twenty-six students from Std V to IX benefited from this workshop. The following topics were covered during this workshop: Introduction to Mime, Mime Techniques, Developing Mime Expressions, Making Mime Costume and Mime Makeup.
