PANAJIDon Bosco College inaugurated their first music club ‘Cadenza’ at the hands of popular Goan musician and arranger, Mukesh Ghatwal in the presence of director of the institution Rev Fr Joaquim Lobo who addressed the gathering. Playing a drum roll, Mukesh Ghatwal announced the opening of Club Cadenza for the academic year 2022-23. In his address Ghatwal stressed upon producing and performing original music and also incorporating local flavour into pop and other genres. The event was hosted by club members Astrid Ataide and Ryan Fernandes. The club, an initiative by Prof Archie Fernandes, aims at providing a healthy platform for students to learn and have fun with music on campus. The club also aims to prepare its member students to participate in various competitions and other events across Goa. The event was followed by a performance by Ralina Soares, Ryan Fernandes and group. There was a Q&A session too. Student Danika D’Sa gave a vote of thanks. The auditions of 40 students were judged by three judges, assistant professors Archie Fernandes, Agnelo D’Souza and Stella Rodrigues.
