PANAJI: Loutulim will celebrate the Feast of St Anthony of Padua on 13 June at 6:15 pm in a unique manner. Devotees will take part in a procession and float petition candles around the miraculous statue at Tolleaband. The event will include 13 prayers, litany, a prayer service, pastoral message and blessings by Parish Priest Rev Fr Simon. It will conclude with the distribution of Pao de Santo Antonio (St Anthony’s bread) and community fellowship.
‘We for Palolem’ distributes 250 saplings
CANACONA: As part of World Environment Day, the NGO ‘We for Palolem’ distributed over 250 saplings during a door-to-door drive in Ward X of the Canacona municipal area.Led by president Gaspar Coutinho, the team also helped plant saplings at several homes.
