MARGAO: Fr Agnel YSC, Paroda edged past Verna SC 2-1 to move in the next round of 22nd Bro Eulalio Vaz memorial football tournament, organised by Don bosco Oratory Fatorda, at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, on Friday.
Regan Costa opened the scoreline for Paroda in the 19th minute. As the match progressed, in the 37th minute, Regan Costa doubled the account for Paroda.
Andrews John pulled a goal back for Verna in the 57th minute.
Regan Costa of Fr Agnel YSC Paroda was presented the man of the match award by DBO member Cyril DBO.
