Annual Global Walk for Peace was organised on the occasion of Senior Citizens Day by Lions and Leo Club of Calangute in association with senior citizens of Calangute from Dolphin Circle Calangute to Senior Citizens Ghar Calangute.
PI Calangute Police Station Nolasco Rapose flagged off the walking rally. The Health Talk was delivered to Senior Citizens by Health Officer of PHC Candolim Dr Roshan Nazareth. Lions & Leo Club of Calangute served delicious and health conscious breakfast to all attendees after the walk, states a press release.
President of Senior Citizens Association PMJF Lion Filipe Dias, President of Lions Club of Calangute Lion Murtaza Mathernwala, Past District Governor PMJF Lion Saish Lawande, Leo President Leo Sagar Lawande, Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Illyas Rajabali and other members were present.
