The Goa Football Association announced the fixtures for the upcoming 77th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy on Friday.
Goa will begin their campaign on October 9 against Chhattisgarh at SAG ground, Benaulim, at 4 pm.
Goa has been placed in group A along with Kerala, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir and Chhattisgarh. They play Gujarat on October 13 and Jammu and Kashmir on October 15. Their last group fixture will be played on October 17 against Kerala.
PANAJI Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem emerged State champions in the U-14 Sepaktakraw tournament, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Panaji, at Peddem, Mapusa, recently.They defeated Shri Vasant Vidyalaya, Siolim 2-0.The boys lost a close match to St Anthony HS, Monte de Guirim 1-2 to settle for runners-up in the U-14 category.The teams are seen along with teachers Astrid, Digna and Arvind and Fr. Thomas Gonsalves.
