Mandre College of Commerce, Economics and Management, Mandre-Goa conducted the 1st Intramural Competition-Football for their students on December 4 at the VP ground, Mandre. The Intramural competition for the academic year 2021-22 was inaugurated by Lt Aniket Kerkar, College Director of Physical Education and Sports, HPSM’s Ganpat Parsekar College of Education in the presence of Prof Tushar S. Anvekar, Principal, Mandre College of Commerce, Economics and Management, Viraj Mahamal, Physical Education Teacher, RD Khalap High School, Mandre. Students of the college were equally assigned to different houses, namely Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and Venus. In Men’s Category team Mars and in women’s category team Jupiter won the competition. The above activity aimed to encourage, evaluate performance and provide more competition exposure to the students, and to inculcate the values through sports like planning and preparation, Hard work, Team building, sportsmanship and so on. The programme was coordinated by the College Department of Physical Education and Sports under the guidance of Balachandra Jadar, College Director of Physical Education and Sports and Pratik Kannaik, Instructor in Physical Education.
