MARGAO: A condolence meeting has been organised to pay tribute to former Konkani Bhasha Mandal Secretary Sanjay Talwadkar and veteran actor-director Ajit Kerkar on June 13 at 4 pm at the Konkani Bhasha Mandal premises in Vidyanagar, Margao. Sanjay Talwadkar served as Secretary of Konkani Bhasha Mandal and played an important role in promoting and strengthening the Konkani language. Known for his cheerful nature, he always brought smiles to those around him. He was a talented comedy artist, playwright and film actor. Two of his humorous literary works, Ghost and Bhus Baro Dis Baro, have been published. He was also a well-known mime artist and made valuable contributions to Konkani literature and theatre.
