PANAJI: The Lenten Bible Study on the passion narratives which began on March 1 and were held every Wednesday of the season of Lent, at Carmelite Monastery, Margao will conclude on March 29 with the final reflection on the last words and Resurrection of Jesus.
Fr Macson Fernandes, Professor of Sacred Scriptures at the Patriarchal Seminary, Rachol, Salcete covered topics like Jesus in Gethsemane, Jesus’ arrest and trial before the Sanhedrin, Jesus trial before Pilate and the death of Jesus, so far. The discourses were well presented and attended by a good number of lay faithful. Time was also provided to answer queries from the participants.
