The Cuncolim police have registered a FIR against two persons under the Goa Children Act for allegedly bringing a minor girl from Maharashtra to work as a house maid.

The incident occurred between August 28 and September 1, when a Jharkhand native residing in Velim allegedly brought a minor girl from Maharashtra and kept her with him, though unrelated by blood. Police said the accused employed the minor as a maid at a Borda“Margao house, whose owner was also charged since he is unrelated to her.
