PANAJIInstitute Menezes Braganza, Panaji will be organising a programme on the occasion of the Death Anniversary of Padmashree “Late BB Borkar (Bakibab)” on July 8 at IMB, Panaji. The chief guest for the programme will be Prof Anil Samant along with the daughter of late BB Borkar (Bakibab) Mukta Agshikar and Bharati Heble. “The Life of Bakibab” will be presented at the conference hall of Institute Menezes Braganza on July 8 from 4 pm onwards. In the second session, there will be a musical programme in collaboration with Manasa Creation, Panaji, named “Swar Anurag” a tribute to the late BB Borkar based on his poems. Vishnu Shirodkar (keyboard, music arranger), Dhanaraj Madkaikar (harmonium), Bindiya Vasta (vocal), Gautami Hede Bambolkar (vocal), Rajesh Madgaonkar (vocal) will perform in the musical programme.
Arushka shines in Std XII Arts exam
PANAJI Arushka V Coutinho past student of Assumpta High School, Sarzora and studying at Rosary Higher Secondary School, Navelim scored 572 marks in Std XII Arts and is honoured with late Mrs Alba Falcao citation and cash by PC Trust. The award is founded by late Mr& Mrs A P/ Mina De Melo , Secreamvaddo, Chinchinim.
