Our Lady of Gloria, Raia edged out Rossman Cruz Nagoa Verna 4-1 to move to the semifinal of Wilred Leisure football tournament, at DYSA ground, Curtorim, on Thursday.
The match started on fast pace note and both teams showed urgency to score. It was Rossman's Andrew John who missed the target in the 17th minute while Our Lady of Gloria scored two quick goals through Silvano Oliver and Anson Tavares in 26th and 28th minutes respectively.
In the second session of play, it was Silvano Oliver who completed his brace and 3-0 for Gloria in the 40th minute by placing the ball over the goalkeeper from top of the box while Rio Borges of Gloria scored with a powerful right footer from the free kick, and made it 4-0 for Gloria. Rossman Cruz Nagoa Verna pulled a goal back through Roydon Rego in the dying minutes of the game.
Silvano Oliver of Our Lady of Gloria Raia awarded the man of the match by Minino Fernandes member of Wilred Sports Club.
