PANAJI
Panaji Police busted a gang involved in mobile thefts and apprehended five accused persons who were active in Panaji and Margao.
The police have seized from their possession 25 mobile phones of different brands and one HP laptop, all worth Rs five lakh.
The team led by Police Inspector Panaji Sudesh Naik, Police Sub-Inspector Sahil Warang, Head Constable Nitin Gaonkar, PC Ermmaiya Gurayya, and PC Sayesh Uskaikar developed the information and executed the raid leading to the arrest and recovery of mobiles phones under overall supervision of Sub-Divisional Police Officer Panaji Uttam Raut Dessai and Superintendent of Police North Utkrisht Prasoon.
The accused include Kumar Dodderi (20), Raju D R (22), Lakshmana D K (23), Shrikanth D M (22) and Ramesh D N (28).
All the accused are residents of Bhadravathi in Shivamogga in Karnataka.
