MARGAO: Parish Youth Nuvem won 3-2 in a penalty shootout over Navelim Sporting Club to secure a spot in the quarterfinals of the Lourdes Soccer 2025, organized by Ambelim Sports Club at the Ambelim Ground on Tuesday.
Both teams displayed attacking football throughout the match, creating several scoring opportunities, but neither could find the back of the net before the final whistle.
In the ensuing penalty shootout, Parish Youth Nuvem converted three penalties through Nicolau Colaco, Shenoy Colaco, and Shubert Colaco. For Navelim Sporting Club, Meliston Dias and Aden Pereira were successful, but it wasn't enough to secure the win.
