MARGAO: Rossman Cruz Nagoa SC and SCC Loutolim registered wins in the U-15 division II tournament.

At Utorda Sports Complex ground - Rossman Cruz Nagoa SC trounced Baina SC by 8-0. Ayaan Bandelar scored a hat-trick, Mark Fernandes scored a brace while Fabron Costa, Stasio Gowda and Kenosh Menezes scored a goal each for Rossman.

In another match - SCC Loutolim defeated Betalbatim Sporting Club by 8-0. Swiden Fernandes excelled with five goals while Vickey Kumar, Nevil Barbosa and Shannon D'Costa scored a goal each.

MAPUSAA 26-year-old construction labourer lost his life after falling off the fourth floor of an under-construction building in Tivim on Thursday evening.According to Colvale police, the victim, identified as Sofikul Islam from West Bengal, was reportedly speaking on the phone when he accidentally fell from the building’s fourth floor.The injured worker was immediately rushed to the North Goa District Hospital in Mapusa, where doctors declared him brought dead.
