MARGAO: Sporting Club of Davorlim blanked CAC Cansaulim 2-0 and moved to the quarter-finals of the 32nd St Rock Super Soccer Calata Majorda in memory of Sebastiao Cirilio Dias at Calata Majorda ground on Monday.
Davorlim netted the first goal of the match through Royson Colaco in the 24th minute. As the match progressed, in the 30th minute, Elvino Fernandes missed a chance to score for Cansaulim. It was Selvino Miranda of Davorlim who netted the second goal in the 56th minute. Earlier, Anita Dias declared the tournament opened and awarded the man of the match award to Royson Colaco of Sporting Club of Davorlim.
