St.Francis Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Siolim observed Senior Citizens Day .The students of STD 11 Commerce B along with teachers Sandhya Fernandes and Snehal Haldankar visited the St. Joseph’s Aged Home in Siolim and presented to the inmates fruits, hand towels and two mattresses.
This was made possible from the proceeds of the food stall which the students had put up for the plant festival held in August. Sr Isabel, incharge of the aged home, welcomed the teachers and the students Sr Deepika thanked and appreciated the kind gesture of the teachers and the students.
The students also entertained the inmates with a dance performance.Tr.Sandhya thanked the Sisters of the aged home for permitting the students to visit the home .
