PANAJIThe Lokvishwas Pratishthan, Dhavali Ponda had organised State level fancy dress contests for special children and their parents on the occasion of World Down’s Syndrome Day (March 21) and 10 special schools in Goa had participated in it. The first prize of this contest was bagged by Lokvishwas Pratisthan’s student Juned Kazi and his mother Parveen Kazi. The second prize went to Bicholi’s Keshav Seva Sadhana Special Children’s School student Shreya Govekar and her mother Vasundhara Govekar. The third prize was pocketed by Aryan Govekar of Anand Niketan Special School from Mapusa, along with his mother Aradhana Govekar. The programme aimed at strengthening the parent-child bond as well as to offer moral support to the parents of special children.
